March Madness Betting Tips
Well, here it is again. The Division IA Championship is down to 64 College Basketball teams and we are ready for some March Madness. As usual we can expect the usual drama and a fair share of upsets which go to make this tournament one of the most exciting events in the sporting calender.
But what teams are we going to bet on and what type of bets are we going to go for.
Pick Your Sportsbook
To start with I would advise, if you haven’t already, to open at least a couple of online sportsbook accounts, my recommendation would be Bodog.Com and Sportsbook.com. Avoid Exotic Prop Bets
With regard to which type of bets to place, there will be all sorts of novelty bets to tempt you to part with your money but if you really want to profit from this years March Madness I would highly advise that you stick to the basic type of bets, ie the money lines, the points spread or totals. The more exotic type of bets are really geared to take advantage of the once a year bettor but if you really want to make money I would give these type of bets a miss.
If you really must, you could look at a small investment in a parlay on the top seeds to make it through the first round but please be aware that if one selection lets you down the bet will not pay out . Do not forget, the reason these types of bets are heavily promoted by the various sportsbooks is because it is the sportsbooks that usually ends up winning on them!
Take Advantage of Bonuses
So, what teams should we be looking at placing a bet on. I have always liked the look of Michigan State and that opinion has not changed as the tournament is drawing closer. Obviously a lot can happen between now and the final day of the tournament and everyone has their own opinions but rest assured, this is the biggest gambling event of the North American Calender, and as the sportbooks are fighting for your cash, take your time and take advantage of the bonus cash that will more than likely be offered and your selections could well offer you an attractive return.
